Mick Conlan was born on 4 July 1992 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, into a family with boxing in its blood. From the amateur ranks, he became one of Ireland's most decorated fighters — a World Amateur Champion in 2015 and a three-time Irish national champion who could have had Olympic gold if the judges let him.
